Voices of Angels
Hi! It's nice & warm here . . . and in Florida this week.
My picture of the candles last week reminded me of the hundreds (ok, thousands) of other pictures I took
while in Italy for a month. It kinda has the candlelight ambiance. This image is from a beautiful French Cathedral
at the top of the Spanish Steps in Rome (what a fabulous place---all you've ever seen in the movies is there!).
The name of it is: Scalinata Della Trinita Dei Monti. My husband & I were so tired after walking from our b&b
to the Spanish Steps, that we almost missed it. Fortunately there is an elevator to get you to the top without
expending any energy. You did have to walk up steps into the church, so my hubby stayed put outside.
I tiptoed into the very back just to get a few pictures, but I was shock & amazed by the most beautiful accapella singing!
It was the nuns & monks singing Mass. Fantastico! Like the voices of angels! We're not Catholic, but
I didn't want my husband to miss it, so I went down & got him. He thought it was so wonderful,
he wanted to buy a cd . . . but we didn't see any for sale. Where DO you get nun albums?
