Hi!  Almost time for school to be out---just a couple of weeks left---before the long, hot summer begins!

We at Foundation Academy are truly thankful for that.

As this year ends, my photography students are being featured with a show at the Beaches Museum

& Historic Center.  Our Grand Opening is Thursday @ 5:30 pm.  Some of the images have been 

manipulated with Photoshop 3 (an old version), but most are the original digital capture.

This image of a rose was taken outside the museum in their small garden area.  It was taken by

Danielle Murray---a very sharp student & artist.  All of my student photographers are in their teens. 

We study photography & shoot on Mondays then work in the computer lab on Tuesdays.  

You'll find some very interesting images.  The BMHC Director asked us to look at the museum in a

new way, so all the images are taken within the buildings & grounds there in Jax Beach.  

Several photos were given to art students who created a larger painting by incorporating 

one of our 4x6 photos.  They show great imagination---but of course, I think the photography

is the superior product....     

Stop in to see the show through the first week of June.  The Beaches Museum & Historic Center

is still located at Beach Blvd & A1A.  Phone 241-5657.  (Yes, I had a show there in January--

but that's when they got the great idea for this show.)
