Blue sky

Hi there.....
I hope you are doing well.  I'm in kind of a quiet mood.  We traveled to Atlanta for a funeral over the weekend.
Prior to going I searched my computer for pictures & found a nice group shot from a couple of years ago.
There were little ones, so my husband was called into duty to make them smile.  His antics worked so
well that everyone is laughing, not looking at me.  Moments like that are great.  I printed that and then
isolated the grandfather to make one of just him.  I made several prints, so anyone who wanted it could
have one.  One was used at the memorial service.  I hope the picture it will evoke fond memories.
As photographers, this is something meaningful we can give to people.

I took very few pictures on the trip and only carried a little point & shoot camera.  This was shot from the
local Starbucks as we began our road trip.  The lighting was nice and angled on the pampas grass,
but it was very bright.  At times like that (which occur often here in Florida) just hope for the best & try to get in closer.
It's hard to know  exactly what you've gotten.

PHOTIP: The wide shot was not very exciting, but the single subject turned out well.
I eliminated the clutter behind it & isolated the subject with a plain blue sky.

Blessings - what would we do without them?
