Celebrating with the Red Hat Ladies
Hi there! We're still having beautiful weather, even though it warmed up a bit & we had to cave---
and turn the AC back on last night. The evenings are delightfully cool at about 65º (instead of the
sweltering summertime 85º at midnight). Speaking of caves, I hope everyone gets out safely down
in the Chilean mine----can't imagine living underground with all those guys for two months.
I did win a ribbon last week from JCVA for the blue boat picture. It was so fun!
And, the Jags won again on Sunday :> Yea!
Now on to the main subject, which is the Red Hat Ladies. They had a huge city wide gathering at
the majestic Epping Forest Yacht Club last Saturday. (Did we know Jville had a yacht club?)

The women were delightful and they had such a good time. I was there to help record their beauty for posterity.
There was a great meal with dessert served first, drawings for giveaways, entertainment, games, pictures of the
groups with crazy names, a cash bar, lots of socializing & pledging on their red hat to have fun and enjoy life.

The wilder the outfit, the more fun they seemed to have.

We were engulfed by a sea of red & purple dresses, hats, purses, balloons, feathers, sequins & pins.

Lastly, my artistic rendition of the Mansion. It's just
a fabulous place to take pictures because it has so many beautiful & different settings: a grand entrance,
stair cases, balustrades, the formal garden, the river, the boats & yachts. It's a fantastic place for an event.
