Elements 9 - a slow beginning
Greetings! A couple of fabulously beautiful days (we're talking 80ยบ and sunny :))
to start the week--then back to a cold windy day today. Busy running errands & cleaning
up for company this weekend all the way from the left coast. Hope to show off some of the
sites nearby.

I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 at the beginning of the year and I thought it would
make a good subject for the blog. I installed it without much trouble. But, it was
extremely irritating to be asked to register with Adobe.com repeatedly. The organizer
ended up freezing completely, so I had to force quit because it didn't want to work without
me being signed into Adobe.com.
I finally got an email from Photoshop.com that I needed to confirm. Then the software,
not the Organizer worked. Looks like there's a lot of magic going on with some new
tools that do effects quickly. But, I'll have to explore that another day and report back.
The Organizer seems to target creating albums, slide shows, scrapbook pages & sharing.
Overall it was frustrating & maddening (that is spelled a very strange way---took me
several tries and made me mad in the process). The Organizer is kinda like Bridge
for Photoshop and just as problematic. I often have issues with Bridge quitting.
So, hopefully the next time I write I will have lovely things to tell you about PSE 9.
PHOTOTIP: Set aside plenty of time to install, register, create a name & password
before you finally get to use the software. Sorry I can't tell you more at this point.
HAVE YOU TRIED PSE 9?
WHAT DID YOU THINK OF IT?
BLESSINGS!
Psalm 3:5-6
