Singing in the Rain...?

GREETINGS!  Well, we're into the overcast, looking like it's going to storm, 90% humidity,
muggy and finally some actual rain
kinda weather. Not very good for taking the camera out,
so I employed my trusty phone to take some pix as I was driving or stopped (mostly).

Can you guess what this is?

I thought the rain drops on the windshield were interesting.  I tried to get groups and then
focus on individuals, but the auto focus didn't cooperate.  That's the worst thing about
a phone camera---you don't know what it's actually focused on and the image looks pretty
good.   But when you get in onto your computer and look at it, sad : < not so good.

What's nice about the rain is that it makes things like wet streets & puddles reflective.
It's like the wet sand at the beach but not as exact.  The whole angle of what is reflected
where is mysterious to me.  What about you?

Flowers, of course, look their best with a bit of rain or dew on them. Sadly, our azaleas
are on the way out, and the rain will finish them off.  The good news is, hopefully the pollen
(or yellow snow) will go away with the lovely pink flowers.

PHOTO TIP:  Photography flowers early in the morning to catch the dew, or await a bit
of rain.  Heck, get out the spray bottle and create your own freshness.  It'll add interest
to your subjects.  And don't forget to "process multiple files" in Elements 9 to add your
handy dandy watermark.  See my Elements part 2 blog for more info on that.

BLESSINGS!
