Passion & True Love
GREETINGS! I hope you are doing well. It's about to get scalding hot here---
90º this afternoon! That is the down side of living in Florida. Spring has already sprung
on into summer heat.
Tonight is the North Beaches Art Walk. It happens on the third Thursday of the month.
I'm in the Old Atlantic Theatres, where Beaches Vineyard meets. Stop in & see
my newest work--nature forms, baby owls, herons & some unusual painterly images
created using Topaz filters. It runs 5-9 tonight.
I went to a fabulous retreat over the weekend: Wild Wonderful Women's Weekend
from Coaches Honor. About 60 girls of all ages gathered beside the ocean in Atlantic
Beach for something like a grown up version of the old spend the night party.
Fun, fellowship & food, of course.
The fun was a version of "To Tell the Truth" which is really a lying game because 2 of the 3
are making up a story. The second night 3 girls had their make up applied by 3 other girls who
couldn't see what they were doing. Very colorful. Did I mention gigantic chocolate chip
cookies hot out of the oven? Moist, fantastic, heavenly coconut cake? Yumm.
We had excellent speakers & music. They all shared their hearts and struggles. The bottom
line is God is good. He is there with you every painful step of the way. Reach out to
Him with your frustrations, disappointments, hurts, questions & hopes. He wants to hear it.
He wants to comfort you. He loves you, just like we love our children, unconditionally.
He wants to be a Father to you. He sent Jesus to pay the price for you, so you can
belong to Him & come to Him when you die.

This is what Easter is all about. "The Passion of the Christ" movie is all about what
Jesus suffered to bring you to God the Father through His willing death on our behalf.
Then God restored Him to life. There is so much love & acceptance there waiting
for you in the heart of God. He longs to cup your face & look into your eyes let you
know He cares about your hurts & loves you without measure. This is true love.
PHOTO TIP: Connect with God and you will see the beauty of his creation in a new
way. Need more wisdom & creativity? Ask Him for it.
