Fireworks Flowers?
GREETINGS! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and ate lots of turkey, took a nice nap, watched some football, had fun with your family and friends and were able to enjoy lots of left overs. Back to real life and shopping now....
I came across these very interesting flowers in a nearby neighborhood when I was walking this morning. So far I haven't been able to figure out what they are by going on line and searching for orange & yellow flowers on a stalk, spike, etc. They are kinda shaped and colored like a flame, but had little sticks. Somehow they reminded me of fireworks in the summer.
If you know what they are, please let me know. In the mean time, I'll continue to search.
They hang out in groups with long thin leaves something like an agapanthus. Then we came across fronds. One in the light, one with back light. Back light outlines the shape of your subject---
any subject.
PHOTOTIP: These are all cell phone pix, so remember to look for good lighting even when you're
taking a very casual photo. Lighting makes all the difference.
