Why should you print out your pix?
GREETINGS! Still very nice, weather down here. We're getting ready for a cold spell though. For real, like in the 20's & 30's. Me no likey. Seventies & sunshine are my choice. International House Hunters seem to find those perfect places---you just have to have lots of cash to afford one.
Doggy update: We are succeeding at potty training----as far as I know we've had 3 accident free days. Yea! (Haven't quite figured out who is getting trained though. Does it really matter if we're getting the right result?)

To anyone who's feeling desperate, it's only temporary. People can help you. Don't end it. That's a bad permanent solution. You will really hurt everyone you care about. Stick it out. I recommend that you sit down with some old photos and remember better times: the smile on a child's little face when they blew out their birthday candles, a summer vacation, sports team, Christmas gathering, Valentine's dance, hike in the mountains, graduation, wedding, etc... It's fun to see the old hair styles, clothing, old friends, even old furniture in your old house. You can hold it in your hand and somehow that's just so much better than watching it fade in & out on a screen. How many times to do really dig out an old disc to look through the images?

Vacation fun.
I enjoy showing my grandkids pictures of their Dad when he was their age---whether they actually understand the whole idea, I'm not sure. It's also fun to look at pictures of the grandkids when they from 10 years ago, and get their opinion of themselves.

Sooo cute & so long ago!
PHOTOTIP: If your old pix are one of a kind, scan them into your computer. Then you can make copies. You could also create a book with most on line companies, if you don't want to make prints for some reason.
BLESSINGS!

Bella is in my lap biting one hand while I'm trying to get a phone pic with the other.
This week is kinda sad because a neighbor's 30 year old son committed suicide. Tonight was the memorial service. You just have to wonder if so small detail would have resulted in a different ending. I know his parents & friends will always miss him, despite his note saying this is what he wanted. To anyone who's feeling desperate, it's only temporary. People can help you. Don't end it. Photo prints don't cost much---sites like Walgreens, Lifepics, Costco, Sam's, Walmart, CVS, Snapfish & Picasa charge 20ยข or less for each small print. I'm not saying you order every shot you took, no matter how bad the quality. Prints make lovely refrigerator decor. Ye Ole Photo Album is a great blast from the past. Prints will be good for years to come. Who knows how long a cd or dvd will last? Will we always be able to view them? Will we be able to find them? Time & technology will tell.

Anyway, one of these days I will actually go back through my thousands of prints from film which now reside stacked up in a corner of the guest room and finish creating the photo albums I started for each of my children back in 1985. Let's see, maybe that'll be a Christmas gift this year. That gives me a nice long deadline....my favorite kind.

I am sorry to hear about your neighbors son, that is horrible! On a more positive note, Mariah sure looks cute!
